I am a Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor. I have successfully achieved my bachelors degree in Psychology of 2018 at Iona University and achieved my masters degree in mental health counseling from Hofstra University in 2022. I'm passionate about helping those who struggle with moderate to severe anxiety and depression. I also specialize in counseling clients with a diagnosis of post traumatic stress disorder in relation to a recent or past traumatic event. The majority of my practice/care focuses on clients having difficulty engaging in everyday duties such as attending work, socializing with friends and/or family members and other personable activities. I qualify to assist those who have persistent feelings of sadness, worthlessness, guilt, and an increased fixation on past-failures or self blame.
My approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness training/exercises, providing clients with take home worksheets that contain helpful exercises, help the client create and set goals and maintain a healthy and balanced lifestyle outside of therapy. My strengths as a clinician are focused on individual counseling for anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorders (PTSD), adjustment disorders, eating disorders, and grief counseling. I'm willing to work with clients both in person and virtually. My goal is to help all of those who are seeking therapy for the first time or would like to continue their journey of positive growth when being paired with me. I aspire to have you feel safe with me when exploring parts of your life that may seem uncomfortable or difficult to process. I will be ready to hold space for those who are in need of healing. Ages:
