It is Okay to not feel Okay! Life is a journey that without notice can lead us off our path.
As we build our working relationship, my goal is to create not only a welcoming and positive environment but also to empower you with tools and skills to reach your full potential. Everyone is different and your full potential may look different than the next person and that is what makes us all unique. I specialize in working with a diverse population including individuals diagnosed with intellectual disabilities/learning disabilities, anxiety/social anxiety and depression. Throughout my work I have assisted individuals with minimizing negative thoughts and discovering new abilities about themselves. My experience consists of past work in treatment facilities with youth who have experienced trauma and individuals with co-occurring diagnoses. As a Rehabilitation Counselor, I also have experience in helping individuals overcome barriers and achieve their vocational/employment goals. A large part of my training and work has been in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness. I have also completed additional training in Disaster Mental Health and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am dedicated to being a culturally aware clinician and I am LGBTQ + Affirming. As we work together the therapeutic process will always be unique to you and will be the blueprint of your amazing journey. |
