I believe that therapy is a place where you can finally stop "just getting by" and start truly living again. When you are carrying the weight of moderate to severe anxiety, depression, or the echoes of a traumatic event, even the simplest daily tasks, like showing up for work or enjoying a dinner with friends, can feel like an uphill battle. If you are feeling stuck in a cycle of sadness, guilt, or self-blame, I want you to know that there is a way through, and you don’t have to find it alone.
My goal is to create a safe, steady haven where you can explore the difficult or uncomfortable parts of your story at your own pace. I specialize in helping children, adolescents and adults navigate the complexities of PTSD, adjustment disorders, and eating disorders, as well as the deep, heavy landscape of grief. I am particularly passionate about supporting those who feel their world has become smaller due to their symptoms; together, we will work to expand your horizons and help you re-engage with the people and activities that bring you joy. When we work together, you can expect an approach that is both deeply compassionate and actively supportive. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness exercises to help you understand the "why" behind your feelings while giving you the "how" for your healing. I love providing my clients with tangible tools like helpful worksheets and grounding exercises, so that the progress we make in our sessions continues to support you in your everyday life. We will set meaningful goals together, focused not just on reducing symptoms, but on building a healthy, balanced lifestyle that feels sustainable and authentic to you. Whether this is your very first time seeking support or you are looking to continue a long-term journey of growth, I am here to hold space for your healing. Whether we meet in person or virtually, I am ready to walk beside you as you process the difficult moments and move toward a future filled with more light, ease, and self-compassion. |
