Meet Talia, a Mental Health Counseling Limited Permit holder with dual master’s degrees from the University of Pennsylvania—an M.S.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an M.Phil.Ed. in Professional Counseling.
Talia is currently under supervision as she works toward full licensure. Her training and clinical experience have focused on helping individuals navigate the lasting impact of trauma, anxiety, and relationship challenges, all through a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens. Talia specializes in working with clients struggling with complex PTSD, often stemming from childhood trauma, toxic relationships, narcissistic abuse, or prolonged emotional neglect. She integrates psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral approaches to help clients explore the root of their struggles while also building practical tools to cope with daily life. She is a Certified Somatic Therapy Foundations Practitioner, incorporating body-based techniques to help her clients heal from past trauma and work towards a more stable and grounded present. Talia’s style is warm, collaborative, and grounded—she believes therapy should feel supportive, real, and empowering. Talia brings curiosity, compassion, and a touch of humor to her work. She prioritizes creating a space where clients can feel safe being fully themselves. She’s passionate about honoring each client’s unique story and identity, and believes that therapy is most effective when it’s a true partnership. Whether you’re ready for deep work or just beginning to explore your challenges, Talia will meet you where you are—without pressure, and always with care. |
