Meet Sarah, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Mental Health Counseling Limited Permit holder. Sarah earned her degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling and Mental Health Counseling from the University at Buffalo, SUNY. Sarah has a wealth of experience in helping people with disabilities navigate the systems of work, disability benefits, and community. She has worked extensively as a transitional counselor for high school students with disabilities. Sarah is currently working toward her license in mental health counseling.
Sarah has a wealth of experience in working with people struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and cognitive disabilities. She is also well-versed in vocational counseling, helping people to explore job and career possibilities and take the steps to achieve these goals. Sarah has a person-centered approach to therapy. Sarah thinks outside of the box when it comes to treatment, which helps each client receive a uniquely personalized form of treatment and care based on who they are as an individual. She believes in a team approach to her work, and is happy to coordinate care with other providers that you are working with in the community, to help you to achieve your goals and build your happiness.
